Ants are very tiny creatures in this world. They belong to the Hymenoptera order of Insecta class. Ants evolved from wasp-like ancestors in the Cretaceous period, which was about 140 million years ago.
The estimated population of ants are ‘one quadrillion’ (1,000,000,000,000,000). The presence of ants in the natural ecosystem is essential to the well-being of the habitats. Ants act as decomposers by feeding on organic waste, insects, or other dead animals.
Not all the Ants have memory storage organs like humans or other mammals. Only the leader Ant or Working Ant can store some memory, which has been proven by ‘Dornhous and Franks.’
Homo Habilis evolved into humans or Homo Sapiens. Comparatively, Homo Habilis had lesser memory storage than the evolved Homo Sapiens. We, Homo Sapiens, are further evolving, and maybe in the future, the next category may evolve from Homo Sapiens.
Homo Sapiens are rapidly reinventing technologies. The main drivers of the technologies are Artificial Intelligence, Genetic Engineering, Nano Technology, Quantum Computing, etc. I believe that with all life-technology intersections, Homo Sapiens are going to evolve into a different category, or in the other scenario, all the life-technology drivers created by Humans / Homo Sapiens can destroy their own life.
In the same way Ants can be evolved with more memory storage and communication method. All the animals have some of the other distinct features. For example, Elephants use infrasonic sound to communicate with other elephants. Infrasonic is a soundwave with a frequency below the limit of human audibility.
There are different types of ants, such as Leader Ants and Working Ants lead the other ants by releasing pheromones (all the ants are capable of releasing pheromones). Carpenter Ants which will help to build the nests. Weaving Ants also build nests by weaving using leaves of the plants on the plant.
The nests are a temporary shelter, whereas the life span of Ants is 1-2 years. The nests can fall or destroyed by anything at any time. Also, the ants are the lovers of warm weather than the cold weather. By considering all these aspects, I designed an artifact/setup.
This setup(artifact) provides stronger and temperature-controlled shelter, which can name it as Ants Pod. The ants can live in the pods which can sustain the wind, rain, and from all the natural calamities.
The setup(artifact) also provides the memory hub where the evolved Ants can store the memories in the hub and can be retrieved when it's required. The Ants can store all the necessary information like food area, tree area, threat area, and also beyond imagination.
The windmill in the setup(artifact) is to generate self-sustained energy. The windmill generates the power and stores in the battery. The stored energy in the battery will be supplied to all the sensors and the devices.
The setup can be done on an elevated structure/tree. Since it has all the protection, I believe destruction won’t happen to the installation. Big animals like elephants won’t be interacting or won’t distract or provoke since the setup is not harmful to the big animals.
Temperature controlled living area/pod for the ants, which has a sensor-controlled automatic dome kind of roof, which will close when it's required.

Memory hub for the evolved Ants. Where the ants will communicate through wireless communication method and store the necessary information which can be retrieved when its required.
The paths for the ants are in a straight line. The natural tendency of ants is they walk in a straight line - they walk one behind the other. Ants release pheromones, which is the indicator to follow the path.
The evolved ants may be having infrasonic sound or more advanced feature to communicate which humans call it as technology.
Once the Homos reborn after long time may be as techno-humans, they can retrieve the data from the hubs destroy more!!!
We humans have ability to create stories and more ability to translate stories into technologies.
